Elana is a guest artist at Chicago Circle Singing with Davin Young. Circle Singing is a gathering with spontaneous and improvised singing. Based on Circlesongs by Bobby McFerrin, Circle Singing is an opportunity for individuals to gather as community and use their voice in a exploratory, free, safe and playful way. 

As singing is somatic, our experience of our bodies while making sound has profound impact on our voice, both physically and metaphorically. Finding more freedom in our body means for more freedom in our voice and our mind. This in turn makes for a more successful experience improvising. With this in mind, Elana will help guide our first hour together, taking us into freer movement that will support our experience singing together. Most of all, she will lead us into a whole lot of fun. Don't miss it!
